I am glad that we chose to travel with New Zealand Trails. The 8 Day Pure South covered a lot of places to visit and hikes to do. It was well organised and so hassle free for us. I felt so well looked after by Megan & Cassidy. We wouldn't have done as good a job had we tried to organise the trip ourselves.

We had a great time and the format was great in that we got to know the other people. We made some good friends by getting to know each other on the trail, on the bus or at meal time. Sam has a nice relaxed way of getting things done which transferred to the group. There were people of different abilities but that did not impact on the group because Sam managed those who were struggling with aspects of the tour. The local (contracted) guides were awesome and very knowledgeable.
