Pure South Accommodation
With eight days to show off New Zealand to you, we’ve hand picked a selection of fantastic places to rest your head on our Pure South Essential South Island Tour.
Mt Cook Lodge
One of only two places to stay in the Mount Cook National Park you’ll be treated to incredible views from your doorstep. Settle into your comfortable, warm and modern room to rest your legs after a day in the hills. If you want to explore further you’re close to numerous marked walkways and the local visitor centre too.
Akaroa Village Inn
A friendly, warm and welcoming motel situated in this historic French village outside Christchurch. Your fresh and spacious unit will have a view of the ocean and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The motel is right on the water's edge so perfect for an evening sunset stroll or a walk into the arty village.
Please note for Pure South trips departing after October 2024 we will not be staying at Akaroa Village Inn as we will be returning to Queenstown. Find your trip details here for the 24/25 hiking season.
Matai Lodge (Te Anau)
This modern lodge is situated close to the Lake in Te Anau and with its dining facilities and communal areas it’s perfect for small groups like ours. The rooms are neat and well presented, perfect for a relaxing night’s sleep. You’re close enough to walk into the quirky town of Te Anau, the gateway to Milford Sound, and down to the lake.
Please note, on occasion for operational reasons, we may stay at an alternative but equally attractive and comfortable accommodations.
