Punakaiki Beach Resort Paparoa National Park
Nestled into the forest and enjoying stunning ocean views, the Punakaiki Beach Resort offers a welcome hint of luxury to offset the rugged nature of the wild West Coast. Situated in Paparoa National Park and just a stone’s throw from the beach, you’ll stay in a smart studio unit with an ensuite, and ocean or rainforest views. Designed in harmony with the local environment to offer a sense of privacy, the warm colours and clean, modern styling combine to create a welcoming atmosphere. A wonderful place to watch one of the West Coast’s famous sunsets over the Tasman Sea.
Edgewater Resort Wanaka
The only accommodation in Wanaka which is directly on the lakefront, this excellent resort enjoys incredible views of the surrounding mountains and across the majestic waters of Lake Wanaka. Well-located close to the township and ‘that’ Wanaka tree, a foreshore trail is also right on our doorstep if you’d enjoy an early morning walk with a fresh coffee in hand. You’ll stay in a well-equipped ensuite room with either an outdoor patio or balcony to make the most of the superlative views. A tranquil spot to enjoy the various delights available in beautiful Wanaka.
Torrent Bay Lodge Abel Tasman National Park
Stay right in the heart of Abel Tasman National Park. Torrent Bay Lodge sits just above the tide line on a gorgeous, golden beach – the perfect place for a swim at the end of the day or in the tranquil morning before breakfast. The lodge offers a level of hospitality, comfort and indulgence you might not expect so far from civilisation. The lodge hosts will give you a warm welcome at the end of your day’s exploration of Abel Tasman. After dinner, stargaze New Zealand’s famously clear night sky or retire to your comfortable bed and let the waves soothe you to sleep.
The Hermitage Hotel Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park
Arguably New Zealand’s most famous hotel, the iconic Hermitage is nestled at the foot of our tallest mountain, Aoraki/Mount Cook. Under its imposing shadow, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the National Park’s many walks, hikes and adventures. The Mount Cook village itself is a lovely spot to enjoy the views with a barista-made coffee or visit the Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre museum and planetarium. As an internationally recognised Dark Sky Reserve, the night sky here is truly outstanding with myriads of stars visible to the naked eye. You’ll sleep well tonight in a comfortable ensuite room.
