The Mount Cook village itself is a lovely spot to enjoy the views with a barista-made coffee or visit the Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre museum and planetarium. As an internationally recognised Dark Sky Reserve, the night sky here is truly outstanding with myriads of stars visible to the naked eye. You’ll sleep well tonight in a comfortable ensuite room.
