Two fantastic spring trips to start the 2014 walking season

The first two World Heritage Walking tours for the season are safely under our belt, guides and guests alike had a great time on their adventures around the South Island. Both trips had the added bonus of great luck with the wildlife, particularly the Fiordland Crested Penguins on our visits to Martins Bay.

What guests said about our spring 2014 World Heritage Walking tours

As always on our small group walking tours, everyone forms a real bond and it’s often like traveling with family.  Sometimes this takes on a literal sense when guests start referring to their guides as ‘Mum’ or ‘Dad’ when we’re heading off on our adventures for the day!

For us, the most rewarding part of the job to hear your feedback and know that you’ve had a travel experience you’ll treasure for many years.  Our early season trips have been no exception to this and we’d like to share some of this with you:

Sandy & Cameron Godfrey, USA.

The guides’ love for their country was so heartwarming and special.  Loved getting to know them and we were so sad to leave.  All the activities and hikes were spaced perfectly to allow us to enjoy every moment of every day! We loved all the accommodation and the preparation and presentation of the meals exceeded our expectations. This trip was amazing and worth every penny.

NZ Trails Guest Reviewers

Angela Hui, USA.

Words cannot explain how thankful I am to New Zealand Trails for this amazing experience.  The hikes and activities were not your average run of the mill kind and I enjoyed them all immensely.  I’m quite saddened to be leaving everyone and New Zealand but I am going to have to go on a diet because you fed us so well!  Thank you for the best 13 days of my life!

Special mention has to go to Dawn Brubaker, who took the time and effort to write a wonderful poem and read it to all of us on the last night of the trip.  Even bought a tear to a few eyes!  Thanks so much Dawn.

We know a lot of our guests plan their New Zealand ‘trip of a lifetime’ well in advance and a good number of folks have already booked in for our 2015/2016 season tours.  We also know everyone loves a deal so would like to let you know of our latest offer for the 2015/2016 season, book by your New Zealand World Heritage Walking tour by 31 January 2015 and you'll be guaranteed the current season's price.  A savings of $250 per person, $500 per couple.

New Zealand Hiking Tour Deals

This offer was extremely popular last year, with a lot of travelers securing their tour at the previous season’s price.  We also know it’s a busy time of year and many of you will have a lot of other things going on over the holiday season.  We’d like to take this opportunity to tell you about this deal but don't worry, you've got plenty of time to secure your spots.  We’ll be in touch again in mid January with a reminder a couple of weeks before the deal expires on 31 January 2015.  See more and register your interest for this deal here now.

Availability Update

Our 2014/2015 departures have proved very popular with only a handful of seats left for the entire season now.  We do take few late bookings at this time of year so please give us a call sooner rather than later if you're thinking about a New Zealand hiking adventure in the new year.  For the 2015/2016 season we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Please see all our departure dates and live availability here.
